Welcome New Students!

We would like to give a warm welcome to our very first graduate student, Mitchell (Mitch) Nelson! Mitch started as a PhD student in the UVM chemistry program in the fall, having previously earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Black Hills State University and a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Wyoming. Having now officially joined the Reinhardt lab, Mitch will be working on predicting lanthanide binding sites in proteins.

We would also like to welcome several undergraduate students to the world of computational chemistry in the Reinhardt lab! Moises Rodriguez, Justin Barrer, and Ashton Sands all began research in the Reinhardt lab this semester. We are so excited to see our lab grow!
